This is the third annual Fantasy Fest Beard & Mustache contest sanctioned by FantasyFest.com and Wolek's Famous Beard Championship events.
There are two contests, a live and in person beard contest hosted on the event day Oct. 23 2023 at Willie's Chicken Shack Key West.
You can also compete online by sending a photo prior to 6:00pm Oct. 23 2023.

12pm - Beard & Mustache Competition Registration & Pre-Judging Opens. $20 at the door. (book online now early for only $5)
5pm - Beard & Mustache Registration Closes.

5:15pm - Fantasy Beard, Whiskerina, and Beard Decorating Contest Registration Opens.
6pm - Stage Show.

7:pm - Awards Ceremony.
8:01pm -Victory Party with live music until 11pm.

The contest is being governed by standards as recommended by the NACBMC guidelines for beard, mustache, and facial hair competitions and judged by an independent panel of uniquely qualified judges.

The third annual Fantasy Beard Contest is a online and inperson beard contest.
This exciting event is Fantasy Fest's newest costume contest and invites all genders to build a beard or grow a beard to compete.
About the Venue...
Celebrate beards and mustaches of all types with Key West's newest hot spot Willie's Chicken Shack. Willie’s is open late, even after the clubs close. Stop by on your way home for some of the tastiest late night eats in the Quarter. We’ve always got the party going on, so bring your friends and get your groove on.

Contest History...
This is the 70th anniversary of the original Syracuse facial hair club Hank's Mustache Club's contest. In 1953 the contest was held at Hank's Cafe on Marcellus Street in downtown Syracuse, NY. The event was popular and covered the Syracuse Post Standard journalists. As per tradition, men grew mustaches and beards during lent and the were rewarded with a clam bake.
